Advanced Energy Expands M-CRPS Range for AI Data Centers.

Advanced Energy Industries has added three units to its M-CRPS power supply range, delivering up to 3600 W of output power and power density exceeding 100 W/in³. Announced at the 2026 Open Compute Project (OCP) Global Summit, the new units target AI data centers, enterprise computing, storage, networking and telecommunications systems that require compact, high-capacity power conversion.

The OCP-compliant CSU M-CRPS Series extends output power and power density while keeping a common chassis and mechanical design across multiple power levels. This approach gives system designers greater flexibility when scaling power infrastructure for increasingly demanding CPU- and GPU-based workloads.

The new products comprise the 3600 W CSU3600AT-9-3M0 and two 3200 W models, the CSU3200AT-3-6M0 and CSU3200ADC-3-3M0. Each meets different power distribution requirements.

The CSU3600AT-9-3M0 is an AC-input power supply designed for 54 V architectures, supporting higher power delivery in AI and data center systems. The CSU3200AT-3-6M0 provides a 12 V output for AI computing and data center applications. Both AC-input models are certified to the 80 PLUS Titanium efficiency standard.

The CSU3200ADC-3-3M0 is designed for DC-input systems and delivers 3200 W at 12 V. It targets low-voltage DC-powered telecommunications equipment and infrastructure using OCP +48 V busbars. The unit achieves a peak efficiency of 94%, according to Advanced Energy.

The new power supplies are designed to address the demands of high-performance computing, where rapid changes in processor and accelerator power consumption place stringent requirements on the power delivery system. Advanced Energy highlights thermal performance, reliability, and ultra-fast transient response as key features of the series.

The products also incorporate cybersecurity and firmware security features to meet protection requirements in increasingly connected data centers and telecommunications infrastructure.

With power density reaching up to 112 W/in³ for 12 V and 54 V architectures, the expanded M-CRPS range gives designers options to increase available power while managing equipment space and thermal constraints. Product specifications and further technical details are available on the manufacturer’s pages for the CSU3200AT, CSU3600AT, and CSU3200ADC.
